I cannot select NVIDIA Quadro 500 from the card selection under display settings. The setting 1600X1200 looks just like the 1280X1024 since I had to select the next best thing "NVIDIA Quadro 540". Is there anything I can do?

I asusme you're referring to a Redhat tool. If so, it really isn't relevant to setting up X with the nvidia driver as Redhat's provided X configuration tool is ignorant of the existence of the nvidia X driver.
All that is required is to install the nvidia driver per the README. None of Redhat's tools are required, and certainly wouldn't provide you with any new functionality. Thanks, Lonni |
