I recently installed the NVIDIA driver 4191 on my Redhat 8 system with kernel 2.4.18-24.8.0. Following the readme and the thread started by STEEL1 I was amazed at how easy it was for a rookie like me.
However, I am trying to run Pro/Engineer(CAD software) under Linux and when I try to run it I get the error message: Required GLX TrueColor Visual Not Available. Recommend that you put "graphics x_windows" in your config.pro. Can anyone tell me what the GLX TrueColor Visual is ? I am far from a linux expert so I am not sure what to try next. Thank You |

It should be any 24-bit color mode.
What's your DefaultColorDepth (or DefaultDepth) in your XF86Config set to?

It is currently 16 bit color. I will try setting it to 24 bit as you suggest.
Thank You |
