I have been reading posts about these two boards:
BIOSTAR TForce6100-939 ASUS A8N-VM CSM ..and it seems there are (or have been) multiple issues running under Linux. For example, does the BIOSTAR board have the same ACPI BIOS issues that the ASUS board seems to have (had)? They both get good reviews on newegg. Are these boards playing well with Linux now? Some of the posts are from last year a some this year. Any help, or advice would be appreciated. I am in the market for a MircoATX M/B. Fej |

I built a TForce6100 system for my roommate. The only problem I had was that the onboard sound blows. On Ventrilo, the sound was very quiet and distorted no matter what I did. I threw an old Aureal Vortex 2 card in it and it works flawlessly. I am so impressed with the performance of the board, I am considering the TForce-SLI board for myself.
