Hello,
I have sever tearing problems with my beamer (EIKI EIP-3500) connected to a Geforce 6800 Ultra. The system is a dual head gentoo linux (kernel 2.6.11, nvidia driver 1.0.7676). One screen is a usual LCD and the other is the beamer. I wrote a simple openGL application that displays alternating black-white white-black images. I enabled the sync to vblank with the nvidia-settings app and exported __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK=1. This worked for the LCD but not for the beamer. Is there any know problem regarding beamers? By the way I do not use TwinView or Xinerama. Best regards... |
