Default Solaris Ultra20 and 1920x1200 + dual head

Just wanted to contribute because i know how frustrating it can be to write get your monitor(s) working correctly. Here's my xorg.conf (monitor, device and screen sections) for Ultra20 w/ Quadro NVS280 + HP L2335 monitor and a Dell 180FP. Currently, the Dell 1800FP is showing wrong virtual screen size, but I put the "Panel" on the top of the screen, and don't have any problems as of yet... (I'm still working on it, but it works, and I have 1920x1200 on the HP L2335 and 180x1024 on the Dell 1800FP)

Question Re: Solaris Ultra20 and 1920x1200 + dual head

Hi, I'm very new to Solaris and Ultra20. I have an Ultra20 with FX1400 Nvidia Quadro and Philips Brilliance 109P. During installation of OS I'm having 1600x1200 resolution, but after re-booting got only 1280x1024. I tried to change in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.nvidia to add "1600x1200" in the Section "Screen" Subsection "Disply" , but no change (I belive, it is wrong xorg.conf I edited). Pls can you tell me where is the right xorg.conf on Solaris, or is there any other way to change the resolution?

Thank you.

/etc/X11/xorg.conf is what you need to edit for X to recognize the configuration. Please generate and post a bug report if you need further assistance.
