You see how I posted that "ugly dos" exe under the extention ".zip", it is smaller than 102400bytes, that is WHY. The program I posted can slice and dice files to any size you want, even 1byte per file fragment(not recomended for > 1k files). And it can then take those same file fragments and recreate the original file, presto, IMO it is very flexible. No it does not compress files, but I just make an self-executing arj file and then use split.exe for that. I have not used WinRAR so I can't comment on it, but split is the MOST flexible file fragmenter I have used, period. I am going to try WinRAR and hold it to a HIGH standard.

Win rar still works after 30 days. After the 30 you get the pop up to purchase it. All you do is click close and you still have full functionality...Just like Winzip...
