Hi, i've a problem when i try to start kde on Debian with startx, i've this message:

That's not an error message - it's simply modprobe telling you that the nvidia kernel isn't licensed under GPL, and no one the kernel mailing list wants to hear from you if you have a problem with it loaded.
Now, as for X not starting, you should look through the log again and read the whole thing. You'll always find the problem in there. -Erwos |
