Best performance you've oozed from a 6600
I'd like to know from those with just 6600 cards, non gt etc ,whats the best mod or oc you've done for 6600? I've been messing with mine recently trying all sorts of drivers and oc'ing at various settings.
default 300/500 tried 348/589, 352/607, 432/617 doing it in 10mhz incrins. I also did the bios hack with NiBiTor where you enable the temp monitor properly and get the temp tab, which worked so i was pleased with that. I'm still using stock cooling, no artifacts, pretty impressed by the 6600, I havn't had it long, I keep thinking I still have a 5600XT. Whats the best oc you guys achived?

My 6200 (tricked out to a 6600) does 500/650 with no sweat.

what kinda of cooling do you have on the card? my max oc atm is 432/617.

Stock cooling. But my GPU is a NV43 while I think most new 6600's use the NV44. Don't quote me on that though.

The one I reviewed back in Nov '04 used the NV43. I apparently got an exceptional GPU as it clocked at a full 600MHz but the ram would not take hardly any oc.

Well, I remember when Leadtek 6200 I have first came out that there was alot of talk on how well it overclocked. So maybe I lucked out with a 6600GT chip that just had 4 of it's pipes disabled and was underclocked to 300.
