Default Strange firefox history problem...?

Maybe this is just the way the vbulletin system works, but I find it very irritating.

When I view a bunch of threads here, they go from bold to normal text to say that I have viewed them. Thats normal.

Some times if I leave the site for a while or close the browser and open it back up, they are all in bold again even though no one has posted. If someone DOES post while im gone however, anything that was bold before my last visit is no longer bold (whether I looked at it or not).

Its kind of difficult to explain. Im hoping others have experienced this too so I dont have to try to figure out how to explain it

Anyways, its irritating because I end up looking at the same threads thinking theres an update. And I end up missing posts if I close out of the browser without having looked at every single updated (bold) thread.

I guess its sort of like the system updates the "new post" status in relation to when the browser was last opened. Or something like that... its so confusing.

EDIT: Ok, it seems its completely random... threads will just be "unread" or "new" at random when I come back to the forums. Irritating as hell
