Default Caution: livna 8756 update on x86_64 Fedora 5

This is NOT a bug report concerning NVIDIAs new drivers. Instead, this is an attempt to stem a potential tide of bug reports.

Fedora 5 users with x86_64 processors who use the livna repo to install the NVIDIA drivers may find that their 32bit GLx applications stop working unexpectedly.

Livna have decided to separate the i386 libraries from the x86_64 libraries in their NVIDIA distribution. As a result, "yum update" (which may run in the backgound on your system) will NOT install the new versions of the i386 libraries, just erase the old ones. This will break all your 32bit GLx applications.

The solution is simple - install the xorg-x11-nvidia-libs-32bit-...rpm from livna onto your system.
