Default Nvidia on Uniwill L372N1 finally working!

Hello guys at nvidia,

my story:

In 2002 I bought an Uniwill L372N1 All-in-One-PC (sold in Germany as Gericom Frontman Force) with an onboard GeForce4 420 Go.

The only drivers which have ever worked were the 1.0-3123 under Kernel 2.4, all newer drivers refused to work on my machine, so after upgrading to a newer SUSE with Kernel 2.6 i had no chance to get it working. The GLX extension couldn't get properly initialized. Believe me, I tried *everything*, spending desperate nights in this forum.

After all (and three years later) now the 1.0-8756 drivers are working! I had to add Option "SWCursor" to xorg.conf and

options nvidia NVreg_SoftEDIDs=0 NVreg_Mobile=1 NVreg_FlatPanelMode=0

to /etc/modprobe.conf - i couldn't hardly believe seeing your wonderful nvidia logo coming up when starting X!

Thank you so much, nvidia! My next computer is nvidia-based, I promise!

Greetings from germany
