The GeForce 6500 is supported in 1.0-8756. If you're experiencing performance problems, please generate and post an nvidia-bug-report.log along with instructions on how the problems can be reproduced.
Thanks, Lonni |

In fact my problem is that I can't play quake 4 on my machine.
I have very bad perf (800x600 it's slow). Also I have only 2100 fps with glxgears (like with my old gf mx 400 agp). (and 100% is used when I run glxgears, is it normal ?) You can find the log in attachment nvidia-bug-report.log Amaury De Ganseman (sorry for my english) |

at0mik,
The GeForce 6500 is not considered to be a performance GPU. If you can quantify what kind of performance you're getting in Quake4, I can see if I can reproduce that performance. While glxgears is not considered to be a reliable benchmark, 2100FPS sounds about right for the GeForce 6500. Thanks, Lonni |
