The only thing that I see that might be unusual in the bug report are some temperature warnings:
NVRM: Xid (0005:00): 31, temp 48C
NVRM: Xid (0005:00): 31, temp 52C

Beyond that, my only ideas for what might be causing performance problems are the old kernel, and possibly the motherboard BIOS.

libGLcore.so.1 => /usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1
libnvidia-tls.so.1 => /usr/lib/tls/libnvidia-tls.so.1

=> your nice gfx renders in software mode!

so, delete all libGL.so libGLcore.so files in /usr/lib or /usr/X11R6/lib (e.g rm /usr/lib/libGL.so* ... and rm /usr/lib/libGLcore.so*
rm /usr/X11R6/lib/*, ... BUT NOT libGLU.so) then _reinstall_.

if this doesn't fix the problem... run glxinfo and attach the output.
and what says ls -o /usr/lib/libGL.so.1?
Thank you so much!!
That did the trick, I removed all libGL.so and libGLcore.so from /usr/lib and reinstalled the drivers, then it worked

I do got another problem that might not be solved here. When playing UT2004 online I get low fps and the game lags (graphic not netlag), but offline on the same map its really smothe and nice. Anyone here knows how to solve that?
A more happier Eazy
