Backup Labels

I was wondering how to make a backup label of a CD. Is there a way to scan the original label and then convert it to a format that a label maker can use, so that the backup has somewhat the appearance of the original?

You just answered your own question. You put the cd in the scanner and save it in whatever image format your label software uses (Nero Cover Designer can use jpg,bmp,png,pcx,wmf,tif,dib,tga, and pgm). You might have to size the image a bit to fit the template though.

Thanks, I guess I should have paid more attention to that, but I have several different labeling programs and had not spent enough time on any one of them.
