Exclamation Interlaced XV video

Using the latest nvidia drivers (6106) I have spotted an odd bug (feature?).

I am outputting a PAL signal from the VGA connector of the card - 768x576 @50Hz interlaced. Anything sent to the video card using XV appears to have half the lines dropped - one field is displayed correctly and the other field is just a duplicate. Has anyone else seen this and is there a way to fix it? Anything not using XV works fine - i.e. if I play a video using mplayer outputting in OpenGL (gl2) or XImage/Shm (x11) mode it displays all the lines.

Oops, I should also mention that I'm using an MX440 - other than the XV problems, interlacing is working fine.

Default Me too.

After installing driver 8756 in my Gentoo and testing some modelines, I got my VGA to PAL RGB SCART working... only to find the same problems with interlaced Xv output:

- half vertical resolution on Xv overlays.
- distorted 4:3 -> 16:9 zoom when mythtv enlarges the Xv overlay so that it's larger than the screen.

Any hope of this being fixed in some near future? I actually liked the quality of picture I was getting, as well as the square pixel hacked modeline I got working on my wide TV, but I had to go back to standard SVHS TV-out because of these issues...

I have no solution to your problem, but could you post your square pixel modeline?
