We have identified two seemingly different problems which began to occur at the same time:
1. GLX will not initialize 2. PCI boards cannot initialize It is not clear what the connection is, but the only combination which works is a single AGP board without GLX. Two bug reports are included, each with a corresponding clean report - one when the AGP board tries to run with GLX and one when the PCI board tries to run without GLX. Your attention is appreciated. All of the attached bug reports are against 1.0-7174, not 1.0-8756. If the reported problems persist with 1.0-8756, please generate and provide a bug report.
Thanks, Lonni |

You're right! It's wierd. I run the dowloaded NVidia 8756 installer as root. It says that everything went OK and yet when I look at /proc/drivers/nvidia/version it says 7174. What can I do?
