Question GeForce3 Ti 200 Does Not Work on Ubuntu Dapper

Hi everyone,

I have been using my NVidia GeForce3 Ti 200 graphics card on my Dell Dimension 8200 desktop under Linux with the NVidia driver for a couple of years. I recently upgraded my Ubuntu system to Dapper, and after rebooting into the new version , had to revert to the nv driver before X would start. After fixing some minor problems with the upgrade, I tried again to run the NVidia driver. I have now installed and uninstalled the driver several times using the Ubuntu binary packages, the NVidia .run package, and the script that tseliot created and posted on the Ubuntu Forums. With his help, I tried editing the options in my xorg.conf with no change in behavior on X's part.

I thank you in advanced for your help.
