What I would like to do:
- use a specific screen configuration when X starts, which will also define the desktop size (let's call it "default" resolution) - be able to switch to 640x480 by hitting Ctrl Alt + once without changing the desktop size (for zooming into my desktop), and to switch back to my default resolution by hitting also Ctrl Alt + once (so only 2 resolutions would be accessible with Ctrl Alt +/-) - be able to switch to any of the screen configurations supported by my screen / display adapter configuration with the xrandr utility (even higher resolutions than my default resolution) What should I do for this to be possible? What would be even greater is the ability to switch to several TwinView configurations with xrandr. |
