Arrow nVidia + triple output

Hi all,

does anybody know if it is possible to have such a xorg.conf file, that would allow me to use at most two displays at the same time, but without the need to restart X and/or hack xorg.conf?

Ie.
Monitor 1 + Monitor 2 + NULL
(CTRL ALT +)
Monitor 1 + NULL + TV
(CTRL ALT +)
NULL + Monitor 2 + TV

I have gone through the documentation and as far as I see it is possible to specify virtual desktop configuration in such way that one monitor is turned off.

Can a such setup be made that includes three output displays and has only two turned on at the same time?

To put it in another way:
I have two LCD monitor and I would like to watch some movies on TV from time to time. While watching movies I don't mind having one LCD monitor blank (nVIDIA specifies that it is not possible to have more than two outputs at the same time) or cloning the TV image, but I find it quite annoying that server restart is required to setup this configuration.

System information:
Graphics processor: GeForce 7800 GT

VBIOS Version: 05.70.02.13.01
Video memory: 256MB
IRQ: 18

The only way to create something like this is to create for instance a second x config file (or add an additional serverlayout, screen .. to your current file) in which you set up monitor 1 + tv. Then start the other X server (startx -- :1 -config /etc/X11/xorg2.conf) and switch between the current X and the other using ctrl-alt-f7 / ctrl-alt-f8. That's the only way.
