Default 3 displays with 2 5200 video cards problem

I've just installed Suse 10 on a Dell Optiplex GX270. It is actually dual boot, and the windows side works just fine. I have 2 GeForce FX 5200 cards in the computer. One has the dual output w/dongle. I want one desktop across all three displays ( two are projectors ). Two displays work, but I can't get the third to work. I do know on working display is comming from different video cards.

I edited my xorg.conf to add sections for Monitor, Modes, Screen and Device.

The bus Id on my devices are 1:0:0 and 2:7:0. I tried using both of those to no avail.

The Monitor [2], modes [2], screen [2], and device [2] is what I added. With out those sections, two displays work. WHen I add my portion ( trying both mode types ) x won't even start.

I have installed the latest nvidia drivers.

He is my entire conf.

Please start X with the following command:
startx -- -logverbose 5

and then generate and post an nvidia-bug-report.log.

Thanks,
Lonni

I now have a "Display 3" under "Card and Monitor Properties" My xorg.conf is a little different.

Attached is the new xorg.conf file. The nvidia-bug-report.log was to big to add/attach here, so I posted it on our website.

Default Re: 3 displays with 2 5200 video cards problem

I see a few potential problems in the bug report:
0) For the two devices with BusID="2:7:0", you have both set to Screen=0. You need to set one as Scree=0 and the other Screen=1
1) You have alot of modelines in your bug report, but its not clear where you obtained them. I'd suggest commenting them all out
2) One of your display devices doesn't seem to have an EDID. This is the same one that isn't displaying anything. I suspect that this is the problem. Are all 3 display devices identical?

Thanks,
Lonni
