Default Re: Best distro for nForce 410 support?

Thanks,

Do you know which distros are shipping with a 2.6.16.x kernel? According to distrowatch, even the very latest releases of FC5 and Ubuntu are using 2.6.15....

FC5 ships with 2.6.15, however the current update kernel is 2.6.16. I believe that SuSE-10 (or 10.1-beta) also has a 2.6.16 kernel. Debian unstable has one as well. There are likely others, but those are what I've used recently.

Thanks,
Lonni

Gentoo is at 2.6.16-r7 for x86 and AMD64.
2.6.16-r3 for ia64, ppc, and ppc64.

Lonni, I'm successfully using a 2.6.15 kernel with no networking problems, and actually anything > 2.6.13 worked great for me (using the GeForce6150/NForce430 board Asus A8N-VM CSM). Now, I'm not dual-booting into Windows, so maybe the forcedeth driver in 2.6.16 addresses that issue.
