E3 2006 Vanguard Videos
Special thanks to Brad McQuaid, April Jones, Derek McDevitt, and everyone at Sigil Games and Sony Online Entertainment. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful in helping me capture these videos. Brad even did a special video greeting for us, however my camera glitched and I lost the footage Also, another dev did the same, but I had the same problem...Can you believe it? They were nice to do it though and it was greatly appreciated.Enjoy Torrent: http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3483505 This file contains all the movies. Again, please only link this thread at NVNEWS, not the actual torrent...Thanks! If you do not have a Torrent Client, please download the movies below. To download the individual movies, right click, save as on the links below: Video 1 (Combat) Video 2 (Combat) Video 3 (Character Creation with Derek McDevitt commenting) The folks over at VGrangers were nice enough to mirror our videos (and included links to nvnews). http://vgrangers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240 And, you can find the rest of our E3 videos here: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=70062 Last edited by nrdstrm; 05-13-06 at 05:14 AM. |

Hi guys, great vids. Don't mean to be a pain, but do you know what kind of hardware was being used to demo this?

I would say some pretty high end stuff but also keep in mind the game is still rather early and there is plenty of time for optimizations ect. Hell they still have not finished all the classes. Let's just hope it's released when it's finished even if it takes a while to do.

The graphics look pretty good but man... games like this have such weak looking combat. It looks so dumb with people standing around waiting to attack. Im really surprised they havent made things at least LOOK more interesting to the player.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind and try to keep my expectations in check for my, once glorious - now lowly, 6800GT.
