I am a newbie to linux (SuSe 8.1). I have an nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4600 and a FlexScan L565 TFT monitor. If I cinnect using the DVI output and input with the appropriate digital cable I cannot get a screen display. However using an analogue adaptor and cable and the analogue input on the monitor I get a screen display. I have got updated drivers from the SuSe automatic update site but still no change. Please can someone help. Many Thanks

I know I'm probably being stupid, but where do I find the monitor options you suggest? I have looked in YaST and the only option I have is to select the monitor. The Eizo FlexScan L565 is not listed and I cannot fin any linux drivers on the net. As I said I'm a newbie to linux so detailed help would be much appriciated.

Search the nVidia README for ConnectedMonitor.
