Hello.
As said in title, I have a couple of family MPG videos I want to edit. I'm not really into something fancy, all I want is a good control of editing chapters, adding some titles with some nice effects, and video-quality and color control Since I'm new in this business, I'm looking for a for a simplistic, user-friendly app, yet useful and thorough. Thanks in advance. ![]() Good day ![]() Last edited by muaddib; 06-13-06 at 04:53 PM. |

I assume you're using Windows? I haven't really done any movie editting on a PC...so I can't really answer you there. But iMovie for the MAC is amazing easy. Pretty sure my mom (who knows nothing about movie editting) could use it.

for windows xp -- windows movie maker is very simple with some pretty good features, decent rendering options, and its free.
for simple stuff i often times use it instead of opening up adobe after effects. |

I'm a Windows user indeed. Well, I think I'm gonna give WMM a shot. Thanks!

Pinnacle studio is pretty good. And its easy to use but for ease and no bloaded stuff go with WMM.

Thanks everyone. As long as you can add titles, subtitles, some effects, music and render options - I'm settled with WMM.
