Default IO error 104 with GLX module (not same as other posts)

Hi, hope someone can help.

Got a segfault when starting X. It works with the nvidia driver only if the glx module is not loaded.

I have checked other solutions on the forum, but they have not helped. (/usr/lib/tls etc)

The Xorg log looks fine, there's no errors. The only thing which looked slightly odd is that every module apart from glx seems to be compiled for 4.0.2 when everything else says 7.0.0

(II) Module glx: vendor="NVIDIA Corporation"
compiled for 4.0.2, module version = 1.0.8762
Module class: X.Org Server Extension
ABI class: X.Org Server Extension, version 0.1

I have attached nvidia bug report and a seperate x log file. (the bug report listed an old xfree86 log, not the current xorg log. I assume this is something that should be updated in the debian package nvidia settings?

Thanks for having a look for me, let me know if nay more info is needed.
