5700LE - Slackware - low fps
The problem i have is the GL seems extremely slow.
I first noticed it when i saw the simple gl full screen screensavers going at a crawl *under* 10fps. lol. ugh.
glxgears reads out 250fps... i beleive this should be extremely higher than this lol.
not even going to bother playing a game with this yet.
some of my information:
Im using a complete fresh slackware 10.2 install (current).
This comes with x11 of 6.9.0
My machine is a celeron 2.9ghz, 1.5g ram, with a agp geforce fx 5700LE 128m ram.
/proc/cpuinfo shows 2926.207 mhz
i used #349 'Geforce' for driver with xorgconfig.
the xorg log says its detecting the 5700LE.
kernel does have mttr and agpgart compiled in.
any ideas? need any other info?
