Default Nforce 5.1 sound system

I'm using kernel because i want to have my 5.1 sound system working with (official) nforce nvidia drivers.

But 2.6.12.X have security flaws and i'm migrating to the lastest version.
I saw in a preview thread that kernel >2.6.12 have support for nforce but i want to know how i would have my 5.1 sound system working with alsa and so on....

And i have one more problem. With forcedeph kernel driver in 2.6.17.X i can't set my ethernet card to 10mb/s half-duplex.... :X I used ethtool and it shows me that i have 10Mb/s half duplex set, but i keep can't connect to any computer in my home.
I only can do that if i use the nforce drivers in old kernel...

Any ideia?
