My card is a 5700LE
$ glxgears 5811 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1162.032 FPS 4893 frames in 5.0 seconds = 978.531 FPS 4654 frames in 5.0 seconds = 930.045 FPS 4550 frames in 5.0 seconds = 909.502 FPS 4480 frames in 5.0 seconds = 895.985 FPS Is there something wrong with my xorg.conf? |

`glxgears` is not useful as a benchmark, as it's influenced by too many factors. Are you seeing performance problems with other OpenGL applications, as well?

I got the expect FPS with all linux I put in my computer, its includes all the live cds one. My freebsd is 6.1 stable with the lastest ports and pkgs upgradeds, dont know what is wrong with freebsd driver. If I move the glxgears window this freezes a little(0.3 seconds maybe) and then continue.
At this moment I'm with ubuntu 6.06 and xgl , It's perfect. |
