Stupid solution but can't you just unplug that speaker?

Yes I suppose i could disable the motherboard speaker. However, a beeping motherboard usually indicates an error of some kind, even if its not an obvious one. There is also the issue of future errors that might come up which would go unnoticed if the speaker were disabled.

Well, my next idea would be to monitor the voltages and temperatures. I've never tried to do that in Linux myself, though, so I don't know if there are utilities or what...
