Default New to Linux world

Hello to all as it stands right now I am either going to install PC Linux os or Mandriva Linux on my machine. As I am new to the linux world can some one please tell me how am I to know what Video driver set and Nforce driver set I should be using I have a asus a8n-sli mobo. any help or input will be greatly accepted, thanks so much!!

if you install the 32bit version 8762-x86

if you install the 64 bit version 8762-amd64

read the readme, follow the readme. If it does not work - your distribution should have additional documentation. If not, use the search function of this forum. Still open questions? Post them.
