Default This is an honest offer. I need help. I give up.

I will pay the first guy whos able to help me succeed, 20.00 via papal.

I want to have 2 displays, one via svid dongle to a tube tv, the other via a dvi->vga to a 15 inch crt.

I have fought and fought with it, on and off, for literally months. I completley give up in frusteration. I will pay you with a smile if you can help me get this done.

I am using FC4 and the 8762 driver via rpm, and have a 6600 GT video card.

I have had very poor luck using any type of DVI to VGA converter. You might want to try using two DVI monitors and see if it works that way.

Just a thought

I been able to use the same configuration as you want but not with DVI, just with a regular VGA Port on my GeForceFx 5200...i mean... one CRT 15"trought the VGA and one TV NTSC conected trought s-video a the same time...but i have to use the nvtv utility, because i culdn't be able to start the tv output without it.
here is the link to the software:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=33758

i hope this help.

I don't understand that, because these converters normally do not cause any problem at all.
Maybe the problem was that your particular (VGA) monitor did not want to work with the driver. It would have failed on a direct VGA connector as well.

What are you trying to do, hondaman?

Does either screen work?
