Hello to everybody, I'm a new user in linux...I've mounted debian for 64bit.

I'm looking for someone that has installed the video driver on a same situation...and saying all....i'm looking also for the driver....

please help me!!!!

May get more answers. I think someone said that for win the drivers were manufacturer specific or something, you may face that here. Either way Zander in the linux forum will be able to answer your questions. Good luck with it!

i can't help you with debian cause i'm using gentoo linux.

the nvidia driver can be downloaded from:
http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/L...-8762-pkg2.run

the GeForce Go 7300 with pci device id 0x01D7 is supported by this driver.
(check with lspci if your card has a device id of 0x01D7)

further, it's a good idea to RTFM

it also has some advantages to use prebuilt packages for debian instead of the
generic installer. but i can't help you with that topic. you should ask in some debian mailinglist.
