desktop blinking.flashing-flickering
2 weeks ago, i popped in the ubuntu 6.06 live cd to install ad i noticed that the screen was flickering a lot. i dont kow why i decided to ignore it but i did. i installed ubuntu and the nvidia drivers and changed the refresh rate but the problem persists. is there a solution or do i moe to suse 10.1

hey thanx for the reply but i think it was a problem with my distro and the way it generated xorg.conf files because i now use suse 10.1 and dont have problems
