Default DFP hardware scaler unusable with 8762

I'm using a flat panel with a decent builtin scaler (which gives far better results than the blury "driver-side" software one).

I now have no way to tell the driver to use the hardware "native" scaler, since:
* the 'FlatPanelProperties' X setting is gone
* nvidia-settings does not know about hardware scaling.

Please, bring back the 'FlatPanelProperties' option and/or fix nvidia-settings.
Thanks.
