Unhappy Damn not working

I just got a new Chaintech Nforce2 Mobo with a Geforce 4 Ti4200 and have never been abled to load any Nvidia drivers.

Tried ReHat,Mandrake9,9.1, Yoper but no Luck. The previos drivers gave a error loaded with warnings and the kernel may be tainted but with the new ones there is no errors. But X still does not work and there is no output errors in the Log.

Also tried the twinview option but no luck built from RPM SOURCE or tar files no luck.

Could somebody please post a XF86Config-4 that works so I could compare it with mine.

Unhappy I give up

Im gonna try Mandrake 9.1 for the last time and build the drivers from source and if it does not work then I will either give up on Linux or sell the Damn Nvidia products.

Maybe Nvidia should release there own linux distro made only for Nvidia products that shoul solve some problems and could be fun if it lives up to the standards of there Hardware.

If it doesn't work, please post your XF86Config and /var/log/XFree86.0.log files. I'd also be interested in your PNP settings in your SBIOS.

Unhappy Update

Sorry wanted to say as you can see I have played arround with setting a bit and from the log file you can see that it is the monitor that is out of range, which is strange as it does not display it on the monitor itself. Normally it will flash orange.

Also the hor. and vert. range has been changed a few times to what notmally worked on other distros.

Which specific motherboard? There were some reports that an sbios update might solve a problem similar to this one.
