Default Multi-Monitor Setup Advice

I've currently got a multi-monitor setup working with dual 7800GTX cards under linux. The setup is as follows:

Code:
Primary   7800GTX-->DFP (1600x1200)
Secondary 7800GTX-->CRT (1280x1024)
                 |->TV(SVIDEO)   (720x576) (PAL)
I'm running Xinerama, not Twinview and the problem that I have is that when I run mythtv on the TV, up to 100% cpu utilization occurs. This is only tolerable because I have a dual core CPU.

I believe that since I've specified that the TV is widescreen to mythtv (it is) it's doing some scaling from 4:3 to 16:9 (which is the correct thing to do and the image is perfect).

It's just that I thought that the display driver should be doing the scaling, not the CPU. is there anything that I can set in xorg.config to change this - or do I have to live with the CPU load?
