VGA works! should I file a bug report for the DVI issue?

Little bug:

glxinfo | grep renderer
returns:
OpenGL renderer string: unknown board/PCI/SSE2/3DNOW!

This is new bug. In previous drivers my Geforce 6150 was detected.

Just me-too post, my 1680x1050 resolution isn't working anymore and I'm limited to 1280x1024. I'll check in a few minutes here to see if hooking up on VGA helps, but I really don't like VGA at all (DVI auto-adjusts better). Oh well, in the name of science here goes! *checks*

Ya VGA works great, I guess I'll just stick to using it until this DVI issue is sorted out. Thanks for the drivers, nvidia, I'm loving them so far even with the rough edges being discovered!

I get this when I try to run compiz:

Code:
saracen@veritas:~$ compiz --replace gconf
XGL Absent, assuming AIGLX
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Any ideas?

It is nice to see new drivers. Good job nVidia \o/

I have one request: add an optimisation for enemy-territory, so i can have more fps

I fixed that, see http://www.compiz.net/topic-4707-nvidia-aiglx-compiz

it's screen.diff, but you may also need mesa-fix.diff if you're using quinn's compiz.

I'm loving these betas, as I finally get to put my new 7950 GT through it's paces. But I'm getting an error, common to all of my applications when I compile GLSL vertex programs. The info log spits this out:

<stdlib>(3519) : error C0000: syntax error, unexpected $undefined at token "<undefined>"
<stdlib>(3519) : error C0501: type name expected at token "<undefined>"

I'm not using the ARB GLSL extensions. I'm using OpenGL 2.0. I can provide a test case application, if need be.

EDIT: I ran quake4 and I got the same exact errors when it tried to load one of it's GLSL programs.

while it works fine here with fedora rawhide i have some slowdowns (jumpy mouse) when the cpuload is high.

maybe the sched.so fix found at http://www.compiz.net/topic-4707-nvidia-aiglx-compiz
can resolve this.
anyone have a tip how to preload that library in fedora before gdm starts?

update: when i put "compiz --replace --sm-client-id default1 --direct-rendering gconf"
in gnome-session properties the mouse jumps are gone! a lot smoother with this, yay verry nice!

DVI works w/o problems for me with 1680x1050 resolution.

But this problem is still not fixed.
