I'm going sane, I can feel it. It's kind of scary, but kind of neat too.
![]() Did I mention that life just started again for me yesterday? My kids BOTH started school yesterday morning at 8am and I had the whole house to myself...oops, meself until 2:40 when I picked me son up. We killed some time playing around until it was time to go pick up me daughter at 5. Life is now sweet, very sweet. After 4 years of non-stop running/worrying, the world is finally slowing down for me. And it's driving me sane, and I think I sort of like it. ![]() |

I'm already a killer cook, I'm taking a bit of time off to clean up my house before doing anything else. For the first time in years I'll be able to clean it faster than my kids can messy it up!
![]() It's AMAZING what a few free hours everyday can do...and I'm only on my second and haven't even caught up yet. I actually expect to be posting a lot less now, now I'll be able to get out of my house and actually DO some things...I'm gonna take up rollerblading tomorrow. (No, I'm not kidding. I need a bit more exercise and there's a really nice bike path just a couple of houses away from me and my wife bought me inlines a few years ago that I never tried and they still fit. ) |

This week has been heaven for everyone around here, even the kids...they love school and I've been a whole lot less stressed and more patient with 'em and appreciate their fine company once again. ![]() Life......is.......GOOOOOOOOD! ![]() Gotta go, I called me doc and got a 10 day supply of ambien to change me sleep cycle. I had real trouble adjusting to schedule changes to early morning, but talking to me doc about it she prescribed me the ambien and it took less than 2 days to change me routine. Oh, my house is already cleaner than it has been in years and the amazing thing is IT'S STAYING CLEAN!!!! I can clean it a hell of a lot faster than they can messy it, and I'm loving it!It was a good day, a very good day. My wife got a new hair style that's pretty extreme and I like it, I got me head shaved down to the regulation 1/8" and bought a couple of new "grown-up" shirts and feel all cleaned and spiffy. I had a nasty thumping headache all day from me body's damned whiny need for sleep that I've been ignoring for too long running, but the day was just so good that it really didn't bother me much. (Also knowing I had a fix for that particular problem don't hurt either.) Oh, and I got a new bios for Bubbles...the 3.7 It fixed me stall-on-rebooting problem that was driving me nuts and I started messing with OCing her and figured out dram ratios. Her CPU is the same, but I got her ram up from 350Mhz to 420Mhz totally stable and with stock cooling still on all. Yeah, it's been a pretty great week actually....I'm digging the hell out of it. ![]() |
