Default Radeon 9800pro: Snow Flakes during gameplay!

dear all,

I am experiencing Snow Flakes issue during gameplay like Max Paynes 2 and Delta Force: BHD

I think it's heat issue so i tried to use a fan blowing to the card directly but still the same.

What other issues causing snow flakes to occur? (e.g.not enough Power?)

Thx!

Yes sorry for being unclear.

Your card is probly coverd by your manufacuter, its most likely a defect, you just gotta bite the bullet and send it back to them. Call their tech support first, then they will tell you what to do.

Also it depends on the airflow in your case you will find few OEM's have even intake fans.

RMA it for sure. It sounds like the heatsink is not on right.

Just make them send u a new one. Problem solved.

I had to rma my first 9700Pro for the same reason.
The second one is still kicking today.
