Weird bug with HP Pavillion zd7380 Media Center (17" widescreen killer laptop)

Hi all,

just wondering if anyboby else is using a 17" widescreeen HP notebook and has some problem with it ?

My problem is the following...

X11 and 3D applications are working fine. However, when I quit my X11 session (via a normal way, not CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE) I am unable to return to the text console. It's like if the driver forget to switch back to the TTY1 (for example) and reset the videomode to text. I can get back to the console eventualy after a series of 'startx' and 'quit-session' (but it does not always work).

My setup is the following:

Nvidia 5700 FX GO 128MB
1680x1050 screen
1GB RAM
3.2 HT P4 (800Mhz)
80GB 7200 RPM Drive
--> Latest NV Driver with 2.6.9 kernel running FC3
