Thanks for the link. i am using firefox on a older laptop I just set up for home browsing (P3-500/256MB Dell). I used the all PC checkbox and set the browser to slow PC with fast connection. Huge improvement...

Definatly a noticable speed increase with sites that make good use of Javascript (At least, when loading a few pages like this very Reply page) and the loading time of firefox definatly improved by a few seconds at least. Much better then the last versions.

Anyone have any clue why Firefox is not bundled with this sort of optimization? I mean it could easily detect your hardware and connection...
