I just read this article about how in mexico they don't really celebrate cinco de mayo, but many do in the US, and I just had an epiphany...Perhapse this is an American anti-french holiday? Since we never got the opportunity of having an excuse to go to war with france before, we instead celebrate a day when a country we just defeated subsequently defeated france shortly thereafter. It makes perfect sense
![]() http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/3168463 Best of all, it seems that mostly liberals like to celebrate this holiday as their own sort of multicultural day, and all the while thinking that it is mexican independence day when it really has nothing to do with that. What a perfect way for the liberals to unknowingly help everybody else bash the french! At first I didn't really care (much less know) what that holiday was really for, but now that I know, I think I will take part in the festivities tommorow ![]()

Mayonaise is a bigger deal in the US than in Mexico

Don't canadians put mayonaise on everything? All I know is what I've seen in "The whole 9 Yards".
And that their heads detach from their lower part of the head and bounce around when they talk. Hey Budday! What's that aboot!
