Default mike tyson's hero is Chariman Mao!!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4871610.stm

Quote:

Former world champion heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has spoken of feeling humbled during a visit to the mausoleum of Mao Zedong in Beijing.

"I felt really insignificant next to Chairman Mao's remains," he was quoted by a Chinese daily as saying.

Tyson apparently read some of the late Chinese leader's writings while in prison for rape in the 1990s.

Emerging from the mausoleum, he shouted "I love you" to Chinese onlookers.

He told the Beijing News that the visit had been a great honour.

The former champion, 39, was in the Chinese capital after a visit to Shanghai where he promoted a new night club.

One of his trademarks during his boxing career was an arm tattoo of the communist dictator.

Mike Tyson became the youngest champion in heavyweight history when he took the title aged 20 in 1986.

If he means the same Mao I'm thinking of; I wonder what many of the students (such as those who were involved in the Tianamin Square demostrations) might think of that? He might have formed the basis for their Communist form of government, but not everyone over there has been most thrilled with the form of government that had been established... The Tibetans and certain other people who have been dealt with in certain manners also goes without saying, and ditto wrt those from Taiwan.

Though he might say it along with "I love you"? some of his listeners might not all share the same sentiments...

Mike Tyson is the greatest boxer to ever live. Whether he is an "idiot" or not is a personal opinion. Mike Tyson IS boxing, whether you like it or not. 50 years from now, when someone says the word "boxing" the first thing that will come to your mind will not be Ali, De La Hoya, or Lenix Lewis. It will be none other than Mike Tyson. As a boxer myself, I learned 3 things about boxing and its fans.

1. Your average joe will state Mike Tyson is the best Boxer of all time, even though he knows nothing of the sport.

2. Your average boxing fan will convince himself that Mike Tyson is not as "good as people say he is" and say that someone else is better.

3. Your true Boxing ENTHUSIAST will have the same opinion as the average Joe. All hardcore boxing enthusiasts KNOW Mike Tyson was a FORCE in the boxing ring.

I'm guessing you fall under category number 2 . While he might not have been "smart" with alot of life choices, the man was an absolute GENIUS in the ring.

None of the above. I don't follow boxing. I'm sure he's good at what he does. He is a simpleton though. And apparently a commie.

Tyson is not a boxer, he is a brawler. He is far from the best ever.

Apparently you don't box, or know what boxing is. This is no insult, its just a fact. Tyson arguably has one of the best offensive boxing styles of any other fighter. Unless you FAR outweigh your opponent, a "brawler" boxing style is a death wish in the boxing ring. Tyson was a boxer. A damn good one at that.

Wanna talk Brawlers? George Foreman. George Foreman won alot, but only due to his size and size alone.

P.S George Foreman grills rock

I watch quite a bit of boxing, Tyson to me had no skill or style to his approach, he just flung his fists. Lewis was a boxer, the fat bloke from the Argyles the othernight at Colchester who went in windmilling was a brawler and he looked just like Tyson, until he got knocked down.
