I am trying to have 2 X-Screens running, the laptop LCD a the "flat panel lcd", but the image in the later is blurry and non-centered. Attached log file.
Anyone? |

I see two display devices in your bug report. The internal DFP, and an Acer AL1916 CRT.
0) Is the CRT the display that is blurry? 1) Exactly how blurry is the image? Is it unreadable, or just not as crisp as the DFP? 2) Can you capture this blurriness in a screenshot? Also, I'll note that LCD is not a valid parameter for the ConnectedMonitor option: Option "ConnectedMonitor" "LCD" Thanks, Lonni |

I have the laptop LCD screen, but the second screen is a TFT, not CRT. So, basically, the laptop screen and a TFT screen.
The image in the Acer TFT is non-centered and blurry so that you can see the pixels changing on still images... The image in the laptop screen is centered and very nice and crisp. |

Can you run an "automatic adjust" of sorts on your Acer? Most LCDs have the option.

The weird thing is that it seems that the system is considering the Acer AL1916 as a CRT, but it is a TFT:
http://www.acer.com.sg/products/moni...toral1916A.asp any guesses? |

That is expected behavior, as all analog connections are treated as a CRT.
Thanks, -Lonni |

Does that mean that my xorg.conf file is wrong by definition? How can I have 2 X-screens configured, or at least something like xinerama working, then?

I didn't see anything explicitly wrong with your X configuration in the bug report.

Yes, that works fine here. I suspect the problem you're reporting is specific to the hardware you're using (display device, etc).
