http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060914/D8K4J9180.html

now im starting to wonder if these judges are going to maybe let him off scott free. i wonder what would happen if this happens, would the US set up a trial for him? we better not hand him over to the euros and the hague, they would slobber all over him in the media.look what they did to malosivic.

He did a good job keeping Iraq under control. Maybe the US should hire him back as a contractor to help stop the suicide bombings !!

You can't do that, if they just shot him without putting him through some sort of Justice system then they would be as bad as him, don't you agree?

Well no

He killed people for greed and power and most of the people he killed were innocent civilians

We on the other hand, would be shooting a murderer who kills innocent people

Slightly different. I don't think we should shoot him, but it is DEFINATLY not the "same" if we did, and we wouldn't be "just as bad"

Yes, if he isn't processed through "the system", then it's just another murder by the coalition bad guys. As it is now, other iraqi's are seeking a just trial.

This is an Iraqi afaik, who is seeking to put hussein down, so the desire for him to be gone isn't just western. The rest of the ME needs to see iraqs own people doling out the justice.

Yeah, but you gotta admit, it really is just a formality at this point. What's he going to do, pull a Ken Lay and claim his government kept him in the dark about all the **** that was going on? All of Iraq was witness to his crimes.

Yeah they have to put him through some sort of system, because your right it would look like just another murder and it goes against fundamental human rights ... guilty until proven innocent etc. But we all know he is guilty.
I'm actually over hearing about him to be honest, I don't really care what happens to him. I just want the US to get Osama! and his punk second Lieutenant whatever his name is, now thats a trial that would interest me.

Oh absolutely, sad thing is I don't think it will change any west-haters minds either way, but for the iraqis whose families were hurt or killed by this monster at least they'll get to see some justice done...I hope.

Yup, taking obl down like a dog would be a plus , sadly it's a heck of a lot bigger than just him and al qaeda.
