Default 7900gtx owned (artifacts)

My 7900gtx is artifacting more and more and now It's totally unusable. My temps were totally ok both according to everest and nvidia control panel (gpu 34C, mem 30C, watercooled of course). I remember running Deep freeze for a long time without any artifacts at all. It all started like 2 days ago but I solved it by removing the card and reinserting it. Recently I was playing Company of heroes for 5h when it started to artefact, lockup, flicker and show a bluescreen. When I booted up the next time the screen was all messed up. I've tried my x850xt and it works well so something related to the Nvidia card is messed up.

I won't get into much details but I will show som pics.

The card with the cooler removed:

Thanks for the help.

I see AC5 been filled. Sometimes that might cost the problem. Try clean any as5 close to the circuit.

That's not artifacting, that's defective memory chip(s). Grid line and blocks are tell tale signs of defective memory. Time to RMA.

Um if hes getting lines and blocks then it is Artifacting... Artifacts are corruption in the displaying image... doesn't matter what is causing it.

Sorry, I meant general artifacting (disappearing, or tearing). Basically, I gave him a more precise response. I suppose I should have said that it's not just artifacting.

Thanks, I forgot that general artifacting was missing/extended textures/polygons and so on. Artifacts or not It's very annoying. I contacted the distributor now and I hope they accept the RMA. Downside is that the process will probably take a long long time. I will be receiving some Swiftech MC14 coolers. Gonna clean it all up, apply them and test.

This isn't the common 7900gt/gtx problem right?
