Question What's the difference between these two solutions??

Hello everybody!
Anyone can tell me what's the difference between the following two solutions about dual-screen?
1. Use two graphics cards, one is agp card connected with a 21" LCD(1600x1200), another is pci card connected with a 17" LCD(1280x1024).
2. Use one agp graphics card alone which contains two connectors( VGA and DVI), DVI for 21" LCD and VGA for 17" LCD.
By the way, I do some 2D graphics calculations on the 21" LCD and draw some tabulations on another 17" LCD. So, i want to know if one Quadro 4 380XGL AGP(8X) graphics card is enough for my computer?
