GTX 285 SSC Goodness!
|
So I ordered all my computer parts the other day... most from ZZF and some from newegg (as ZZF did not have them). My parts from newegg have already arrived and my parts from ZZF are still being packed (2 days of packing... how long does it take to pack 6 retail items and ship them off??). Now I am kind of worried, I have used ZZF for years with no problems, but I have been reading reviews and it looks like the reviews are taking the same shape as the reviews of monarch a few months before they went under. Maybe I am just over reacting (perhaps im too excited just to get this build done and should just sit back and chill... even though I did pay for overnight shipping) but I am wondering if anyone has ordered from them lately and had any problems... or lack of.

Well, they must have someone there late as hell... for ****s and giggles I checked ZZF order status section and they finally got the order marked as "shipped" with tracking numbers.... lol. I prey to god that I get the right stuff and that it works. Funny, just 30 minutes ago I did a review on pricegrabber and gave them a good review (and included my order number), but with a sentence at the end saying "this review is pending an edit based on the timely receiving and condition of my goods." Interesting!.... Hopefully they prove my worries wrong and keep me as a customer

never had a problem with ZZF, other than them putting a $40 rebate on an item I bought two days after I bought it

I noticed theyre web status page is really slow. It'll be shipped but wont update till like a day later. I personally love ZZF. I buy everything from them. No tax + free shipping on everything ftw!

Ya.. I just noticed.. it shipped out at like 4pm PST but I did not see it on ZZF till like 12:30am EST. I was freaking out though reading all the reviews about ZZF.... was really suprised too because just like you all I have never had problems with them. I still have my fingers crossed though because it looks like all the complaints are about RMA's and getting the wrong product.

I'm done ordering from them myself after they never responded to several e-mails requesting an RMA on a product. I ended up keeping it, but from now on I'm ordering from Newegg.
