Hi everybody !
I was wondering how to make video in feature of NV45 chip based cards (like GeForce Go 7800 GTX) to work on linux systems. after spending some time to find out a solution... i found out : 1 - buy an antique GeForce2 MX and use rivatv (rivatv does not support NV45 and newer chips) 2 - ask NVIDIA to make driver for video in feature as well as they produce a display driver up to date so the discussion is open and if anyone has any other solution... ![]() |

mmmm... in fact, buying anything else is not a part of the solution...
i already have a bt8xx based tuner card that works very well using V4L. so the purpose is to make video-in feature of geforce 7 series and newer cards works under linux OS... like under microsoft systems. perhaps there's actually no easy way to make it works, but even a hard task is acceptable. ![]() |

But why do you need to start another thread about this?
