Default RAID or Not to RAID there should be no question...

I recently had one of my Western Digital drives die on me. I have reverted back to just one 250 GIG and of course reloaded windows and my 500 programs. Well now when booting up it takes 21 scrolls to get to the desktop. When I was in RAID it was only 5. Guess I will be buying another 250 gig drive in the future.

21 scrolls? Wow! Yeah, something isn't right. I used to have my two WD 250's in a RAID 0 config, but I have gone back to just a normal 2 drive setup and it still only scrolls about 5 times or so. Did you happen to change the config in the BIOS?

Which Setting are you referring to? Before I got my new dedicated GPU power supply I was getting alot of Overclock failed crap and BIOS would reset. So it is possible that I missed setting up bios the way I had it before. Thanks.
